About the product
What is REYS?
REYS is a daily ingestible sun-care supplement. Two capsules a day, formulated around Polypodium leucotomos and four other clinically studied ingredients, designed to support your skin's resilience, collagen, and barrier strength from within.*
Does REYS replace sunscreen?
No. REYS complements — does not replace — topical SPF. Sunscreen handles the surface; REYS supports the cellular layer underneath. You wear both, every day.
How is it different from a regular antioxidant?
REYS isn't a generic antioxidant blend. It's built around Polypodium leucotomos at 300 mg — a tropical fern extract with 30+ years of clinical research in photoprotection — supported by four other clinically studied actives at meaningful doses, not sprinkles.*
Is it safe to take every day?
Yes. Every active is dosed within clinically studied ranges. If you're pregnant, nursing, or on medication, talk to your healthcare provider first.
How do antioxidants actually help with sun exposure?
When UV rays hit your skin, they create free radicals which are unstable molecules that cause oxidative stress and damage collagen. Antioxidants neutralize these free radicals, helping your skin stay calm, hydrated, and more resistant to environmental stress.*
Think of antioxidants as a shield that stops your skin from "rusting." Just like metal oxidizes when exposed to air and moisture, your skin cells can oxidize under UV rays and antioxidants keep them stable and strong.
How does REYS work?
REYS supports your skin's natural defense systems from the inside out. When your skin is exposed to sunlight, UV radiation triggers oxidative stress, inflammation, and cellular damage that can accelerate visible aging and compromise long-term skin health.
REYS is formulated with clinically studied, antioxidant-rich ingredients that work on multiple biological pathways involved in sun-related skin stress:
1. Neutralizes free radicals\ UV exposure generates unstable molecules (free radicals) that damage collagen, elastin, and skin cells. REYS helps counter this oxidative stress with powerful antioxidants that protect skin at the cellular level.
2. Calms sun-induced inflammation\ Sunlight activates inflammatory responses in the skin that lead to redness, sensitivity, and long-term damage. Key ingredients in REYS help regulate this response, supporting a more balanced, resilient skin reaction to sun exposure.
3. Supports cellular protection and repair\ Ingredients in REYS have been studied for their ability to reduce UV-related cellular damage and support the skin's natural repair processes — helping maintain healthier skin over time.
4. Helps strengthen the skin barrier and overall skin health\ By supporting hydration, elasticity, and barrier function, REYS helps improve how skin responds to environmental stressors, including daily sun exposure.
Importantly: REYS does not block UV rays or replace sunscreen. Instead, it works as an internal layer of protection that complements topical SPF and protective clothing.
How to take it
When should I take it?
In the morning, ideally 60 minutes before sun exposure. Daily consistency matters more than perfect timing.
How many capsules per day?
Two capsules daily. On days with extended sun exposure, a second dose (2 capsules) is encouraged.
Can I take REYS more than once a day?
Yes. On high-exposure sun days, we recommend taking up to four capsules total: two in the morning and two later in the day for extra defense.*
Can I take it with other supplements?
Yes. No known interactions with caffeine, electrolytes, creatine, collagen, or standard daily multivitamins. Talk to your doctor if you're on prescription medication.
Should I take it with food?
Either is fine. Most people take it with their morning coffee or breakfast — pairing it with a habit you already have is the easiest way to never skip.
Results
When will I see results?
It depends on your skin. Some people — especially those with fair or sun-sensitive skin — notice a difference the very first day they're in the sun on REYS: a little less pink, a little less wiped out at the end of the day. For most people, the noticeable shift in skin resilience comes around 3–4 weeks of daily, consistent use, and the cellular benefits keep compounding over months.
